<p><strong>Wales National Course</strong><br />The Wales National is a UK golf course of distinction, one of the UK and Europe's newest championship golf courses and - at 7,433 yards off the championship tees - it's one of the longest golf courses outside of the USA. Having already hosted Europro, Challenge and Seniors Tour events it seems destined to be one of the country&rsquo;s foremost tournament venues.</p> <p>Highlights certainly include the monstrous 2nd hole, which is the longest par-5 in all of Wales and as such the course is a consistent test of ball-striking, although various tee positions means even beginners can enjoy a challenging but fair round of golf.</p> <p><strong>Lake Course</strong><br />The neighbouring, well-established and aptly named par 72 Lake course is dominated by a 20-acre lake and has water coming into play on 12 of its holes, not least the signature 12th, which boasts an island green and is ranked as one of the best in the UK.</p> <p>At under 6,500 yards it may just the ticket after a long game around the brutal Wales National.
